The Irish Minster for Arts and Media has selected Neasa to sit on the Governing Board of Ireland’s national public service broadcaster, RTÉ. Early in her career, Neasa executive produced and directed numerous prestige documentaries with the broadcaster. And in her early twenties, one of Neasa’s first successes was her design of RTÉ’s corporate logo.
Neasa’s international spy thriller has hit Number 1 in Netflix’s viewing charts across the US and the UK. The drama takes place in New York and Tel Aviv, and stars Lior Raz with Sanaa Lathan. It was written by Fauda team Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, and The Killing team Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin.
Sea Fever is one of ten European films selected for Sydney International Film Festival 2020. Screen International reports that Sea Fever is an experiment in fusing a Brechtian arthouse feel with a propulsive, mainstream thriller form.
